Hardware Devices XperiaSL

Experience everything in HD with the sharpest smartphone display

Similar to the Xperia S, the Xperia SL is the update to the loveable Xperia S.
The difference?
Two new colours, Android ICS, and a Qualcomm Dual Core Snapdragon S3 MSM8260 Processor clocked at 1.7 GHz.

As you may know, the Xperia SL is the newer version of the Xperia S. It has many new improvements over it including the device shipping with Android 4.0.4 out of the box, a faster CPU, and a few new beautiful colours.

By personal use, I could say it has been a kind device to use. It’s elegant and majestic. The transparent strip just adds to the beauty of this device. It is Playstation® Certified and has been given access to the new Playstation® Mobile. Along with the stunning experience of the console gaming, HD games by known developers (such as Gameloft and EA) run quite well on the device. Camera quality is amazing and completely eliminates the use of having a separate camera. The HDMI support truly makes this a mini game console. However, some aspects of this phone may make you think twice. While specifications may include a scratch-resistant touchscreen, this screen is covered by a shatter proof sheet which is very scratch-able. Why, the other day I dropped my phone and I had loads of scratches right there. You may remove this sheet but this can be risky if you don’t have a screen protector at hand. Also the device’s back cover can come off very easily if not used with care.

Other than that everything else is great. I would recommend this phone as a cheaper alternative to the new Xperia T/TX.
