OnLive updated to allow PS3 Dual shock controller on Sony Tablet S.

For those of you that don't know a huge amount about the Sony Tablet S.  We thought we would share a few little things about it, as it is the best tablet for gaming in our opinion. The reason for it, is that you can connect a genuine Playstation Dual Shock controller and play Playstation Certified and Android games like a mini games console.  It's a great set up and I do not want any of you for a second to think that this treads on the toes of our passion for Xperia PLAY, it's just an extension to the whole Playstation Certified Experience.  Top quality Android games like GTA III, Shdowgun and even the emulators.

Now OnLive, the cloud based gaming service which we love on Xperia PLAY, has updated their app to allow the PS3 Dual Shock controller to control their games.  We noticed this when we recieved the updated on the app and out of curiousity clicked the 'What's New' tab and saw the below.

This will give you a portable home console experience, much like the Xperia PLAY but slightly better as you have a larger screen and a full set of shoulder buttons.  We have been using this set up for a while as until now, there was a cracked version that allowed this anyway.  But now we no longer have to have a dodgy version and just use a completely legal and offical set up.  If you have a Sony Tablet S and completely unaware of the Controller support, then get yourselves online and buy one of these cables.  You need this for plugging in USB devices like game oads, keyboards, mice and disk drives.  So just connect your Dual Shock controller via USB first to pair it, then just connect via Bluetooth in the future.

OnLive is a cloud based gamign service which gives you access to high quality console games that normally are too powerful to run on any portbale devices.  Games you would expect from the Playstation 3 or XBox.  Games like Batman: Arkum City, Alien Vs Preditor, Driver or Street Fighter IV.  No matter how powerful your computer, smart phone or tablet is, the games will run perfectly as the processing is done on servers online.  I guess the only down side for some, is that you need a stead and reliable broadband connection.  Which even I struggle with sometimes.
